At one time, her and her brother Michael ruled the music scene, but could she do it again?

This Saturday, while celebrating her 49th Birthday, one of the Queens of Pop, Janet Jackson announced the surprise... SHE'S BACK!! And she's going on a world tour.

The six-time Grammy winner made the announcement to over 3 million followers on her Twitter page, simply writing,
“My conversation… #ConversationsInACafe"
Including the video link below....

In the mysterious 32-second video, which features a studio soundboard and a computer screen displaying her voice levels, she says,
“I promised you’d hear it from my lips. And now you will. This year. New music. New world tour. A new movement. I’ve been listening. Let’s keep the conversation going.”
Not sure if “Conversations in a Cafe” is the name of her upcoming album, but since May 10, she has been retweeting fans who are using the hashtag to promote awareness on a variety of social issues, including sex trafficking and Haiti’s earthquake recovery.

Since her brother, pop icon Michael Jackson, died in 2009, Janet Jackson has not been in the spotlight much. We haven't heard anything from her musically since 2008 with her 10th studio album, “Discipline."

In 2010  she starred  in Tyler Perry’s “Why Did I Get Married Too?” and in 2012 married her third husband, Qatari billionaire Wissam Al Mana.

Are you ready to hear from Janet Jackson again?
