CAUGHT ON TAPE: Beyonce's Sister, Solange, Physically Attacks Jay-Z!

UPDATE 05/15/2014: 

Jay Z, Solange, and Beyonce released the joint statement moments ago, saying,

 "Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family."

The statement continues, 

"The reports of Solange being intoxicated or displaying erratic behavior throughout that evening are simply false. At the end of the day families have problems and we're no different."

"We love each other and above all we are family. We've put this behind us and hope everyone else will do the same."

Looks like Beyonce's sister, Solange Knowles, had a bit of a gripe to pick with her sister's husband, Jay-Z... she was beating the CRAP OUT OF HIM in an elevator. 

It's all caught on tape. According to our sources, it went down at a Met Gala after party last week at the Standard Hotel in NYC.  In the video ... Jay Z, Beyonce and Solange step into the elevator ... and then Solange goes crazy, screaming at Jay before unleashing a violent attack. 

Hov seems to be pushing her away... Beyonce barley moves.

Jay-Z and Beyonce are very secretive, so you know Jay has to be super pissed this got out... definitely some exclusive stuff here! 

So far no word on what triggered the fight... but can we get that audio though?

Seems like Solange may be protecting her older sister? New footage has surfaced which shows Solange looking pissed leaving the Met Gala, Beyonce following her into the car. Jay-Z says he wants to be in a different car.
