Earlier today, sources say Rick Ross fell unconscious and paramedics desperately tried to resuscitate him.
Rick was on a flight going from Ft. Lauderdale to Memphis today, when the rapper lost consciousness. The plane was forced to make an emergency landing.
Emergency workers say the call came in at 12:55 PM ET ... the caller reported a seizure.
Other witnesses claim Rick fell unconscious right after take-off. His entourage jumped out of their seats to alert plane personnel -- at which point a doctor on board administered CPR on the rapper.
According to the witnesses....the plane made an emergency landing right away -- and Rick was wheeled off the aircraft as he appeared to show signs of life. Members of his entourage were standing by to hear Rick's status, some of them extremely emotionally upset.
It seems that Rick Ross is doing better..... So much better that sources say that, even though he is still in the hospital, Rick is telling people he still plans to perform tonight in Memphis at FedExForum.
Before Rick Ross fell unconscious, he tweeted that he was heading to Memphis to drink some Ciroc vodka and eat Wing Stop....maybe it's time to change the diet.

UPDATE: Looks like nothing can stop Rick Ross. He just tweeted out this video to his fans on Twitter. Although he mentions nothing about the incident in the video, he says he is ready for Memphis...

After making the video above, Rick Ross' private jet made an emergency landing in Birmingham, Alabama (his second emergency landing today)...... because he suffered from another seizure!
He was on the plane headed to Memphis to do a show, just hours after he had his 1st seizure.
Rick was supposed to be on stage in Memphis at 7:30 PM ET.Looks like he won't be making it to the show.
