When Prince was on "The View," Barbara Walters brought up her 2010's "10 Most Fascinating People" list and 16-year-old pop singer, Justin Bieber is one of them. She told Prince that in her recent interview with Justin Bieber, he named Prince as a recording artist he would identify as a role model because he has managed to stay in the business for so long.
Whoopi Goldberg and Ms. Walters pointed out that Prince not only sings, but he also writes songs and plays instruments.
Prince agreed, saying,
"The key to longevity is to learn every aspect of music that you can, and I hope that he does pick up an instrument and gets a good teacher."
