In Florida, many have heard about the huge push to legalize medical marijuana.
Organizers have one month to get 700,000 signatures on a petition to get the issue on the November ballot. Let the countdown begin.
"If it helps people in pain and suffering [and] makes life a little more easy for them, as long as it is used for medical purposes," said Fort Myers resident, Bill Nagle.
Orlando's own, power attorney and mega millionaire John Morgan is behind the movement to legalize the drug. He has already pumped $2 million of his own dollars in the campaign to get almost 700,000 signatures by next month.
The state Supreme Court is still deciding whether the ballot needs to be tossed because of certain wording; as some voters hope medical marijuana moves ahead.
The state Supreme Court justices have until April 1st to issue a ruling.
Their decision and whether enough signatures are gathered will determine whether the question ends up on the ballot.
If it does, it would need 60 percent support to pass and become law.
