Whitney Houston's Cause Of Death Revealed... Ray J Responds To Rumors That He "Tampered w/ Evidence"!

After weeks of waiting for toxicology reports, we now now what killed the late great Whitney Houston...

Coroners just revealed that Whitney Houston's official cause of death is an "accidental drowning ... but also notes heart disease and cocaine as contributing factors.

Reports also reveal marijuana in her system ... as well as Xanax (anxiety medication), Flexeril (muscle relaxer) and Benadryl (allergy medication).

A source connected to the investigation says it is "very possible" Whitney had a heart attack that caused her to lose consciousness and drown. Cocaine use can trigger a heart attack by hardening of the arteries.

Since investigators found NO EVIDENCE of cocaine in the hotel room.... they are saying someone swept the room clean of cocaine and even the bed sheets!

Hmmm... some sources are saying this "person" who cleaned up the evidence may have been the same one who supplied her with it.

The investigation continues.... but Cops will not comment on whether they are looking at evidence tampering.


UPDATE: If you were thinking... "cocaine AND bed sheets" = RayJ.... Ray J's reps say think again. He claims he had NO KNOWLEDGE that Whitney was using again and is pissed people are blaming HIM.

The rep says Ray J is especially upset at claims made by Bobby Brown's sister, Leolah Brown, who went on TV Thursday night and suggested Ray J was to blame for Whitney's demise.
