And finally the Manning Mania is OVER, for now....
NFL Quarterback, Peyton Manning had to personally call the owners of San Fransisco 49ers and Tennessee Titans to break the news to them, that he will not be joining their teams.
After getting cut from the Indianapolis Colts, Manning has finally chosen to make his move.... to the Denver Broncos.
Still to be decided is what happens to last season's quarterback sensation, Tim Tebow.
So much for Tebow-Time huh?
Manning, who turns 36 on Saturday, instantly pushes Tim Tebow out of a starting job and assumes his quest to win a second Super Bowl with the franchise hoping to repeat the glory it achieved more than 13 years ago with John Elway.
Another big question is..... what number will Manning wear on the Broncos? His number 18 is already taken.
Some say he could end up changing it to 14... the co-owner of the Bronco's, John Elway, used to be their Quarterback years ago. Elway used the number 7, and they say Manning could be the second coming of him...therefore that's where the 14 comes from.
UPDATES: Broncos owners announced a deal worth a reported $96 million over 5 years, making Peyton the highest paid player in the NFL.
Peyton Manning will wear his #18 jersey and says he's unsure about Tim Tebow's future ... but claimed, if Tebow stays with the Broncos next year,
"I'm going to be the best teammate I can be."
March 21 - The NY Jets signed on Tim Tebow.
