Fans, family and friends say their farewell's to Whitney Houston...

Unfortunately, the most talked about story this week has been the passing of the late great Whitey Houston.

Listen to the "Talk of the Week" w/ Lady T below:

At first her devastated family were extremely private, not allowing fans to have a public memorial.... thankfully had a change of heart... because today, Feb. 18th 2012, the world was able to witness one of the most beautiful funerals of all time.

After the family and close friends of Whitney had their own private funeral, the six-time Grammy Award winner was remembered today in New Jersey, in the same church where she performed as a child.

Kevin Costner who co-stared with Whitney in the Bodyguard, said she always didn't think she was good enough for everyone, so Kevin left the podium with these last tear wrenching words to her...

"Off you go Whitney, off you go. Escorted by an army of Angels. When you sing before Him don't you worry. You'll be good enough."

In addition to Kevin and her family... Cece & Bebe Winans, Tyler Perry, Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys and even Whitney's REAL bodyguard all gave very touching speeches on her life at New Hope Baptist Church. Whitney's famous singing cousin Dionne Warwick was the master of ceremony introducing each person.

As she took her last walk down the aisle, R&B singer Ray J, who was dating Whitney at the time, reached out and touched her casket, trying to hold on to his dear friend.

But while Ray J was able to give his last respects to Whitney her ex-husband was not...

Reports said that the family did not want Whitney's ex- husband Bobby Brown to attend the private viewing.... BUT he did end up showing up to the public funeral... with only just moments later leaving after an altercation!

We hear, Brown was invited, plus two, but instead showed up with an entourage of nine people. Allegedly Bobby became upset when he found out they would not seat his whole party.

Rev. Al Sharpton wrote from his Twitter page when it happened, saying,
"I am at Whitney's funeral. I spoke with Bobby Brown trying to calm him down and not distract from the services. Today is about Whitney!"
Bobby Brown said in a statement that upon arriving to the service he was moved three times by security, who also refused to allow him to his 18 yr-old daughter with Houston, Bobbi Kristina.

"I fail to understand why security treated my family this way and continue to ask us and no one else to move.....In light of the events, I gave a kiss to the casket of my ex-wife and departed as I refused to create a scene. My children are completely distraught over the events."

"This was a day to honor Whitney. I doubt Whitney would have wanted this to occur. I will continue to pay my respects to my ex-wife the best way I know how."

Here is a leaked photo of the program...

A lot of photos on there, but no Bobby Brown in sight.
