Remember that Drake and Lil' Wayne's album? Yea I guess we can forget that...

Drake recently revealed that his collaboration album with Lil Wayne has been shelved indefinitely. Instead of working with Lil' Wayne, Drake has decided to do a mixtape with rapper Rick Ross.

More fuel to the rumors that him and Weezy are not on good terms?

Or has Jay-Z and Kanye's "Watch the Throne" slowed them down?

Drake told XXl,

“Me and Wayne scrapped the idea of a collaboration album,”
“We just agreed that it would be looked upon as…it would be sort of this competition [with Watch the Throne]. I feel like it would get caught in this whirlwind of hype. [Wayne] agreed. We just said, ‘If we do it, we’ll do it down the line. But right now is not the time.’”

As far as the Ross mixtape goes, Drizzy said he doesn't have a release date for it and wants to surprise everyone...

"To be honest, it’s something I just really wanted to pop up out of nowhere. I’m not gonna release no single or anything. It’s something I want to do because I enjoy working with Ross."
