A man by the name of James Holmes allegedly murdered 12 people, injured about 58 or more and according to reports, he proclaimed....
"I am the Joker"

The alleged shooter, James Holmes, apartment was booby-trapped and one day later police have finally been able to disarm one of the explosives.
Holmes is due in court for the first time on Monday. He could face the death penalty if convicted.
UPDATES: Holmes went to court Monday and now faces first degree murder charges. Prosecutors said they will consider pursuing the death penalty.
James Holmes' family stands by their son -- this according to the family's lawyer.
