Mariah Carey just became the HIGHEST PAID JUDGE in reality television! According to sources, her one-year deal with "American Idol" is worth close to $18 MILLION -- J.Lo only scored $12 mil for her first year on the show.
She also flies past Britney Spears, who's making $15 million on "X Factor."
Mariah confirmed her new seat on the American Idol panel from her Twitter page...

Idol still has one more pair of shoes to fill on that stage...or maybe 3 if they end up revamping, letting Randy go.
