Well this is uncomfortable...

Orlando Magic Coach Stan Van Gundy aired out Dwight Howard, saying he tried to get him fired. He says he heard the news from
"people right in our management, right from the top."

Coach Van Gundy didn't hold back in telling the media what he heard, matter fact he basically dared the the NBA League to fire him.

When he was asked if management mentioned anything to him, the coach fired back with...

"They haven't told me anything and they don't need to. I'm the coach right now and I'm the coach until I decide I'm not the coach. They don't need to tell me anything"

"You know, it's 12:02 right now, if they want to fire me at 12:05 I'll go home and find something to do and have a good day."

To make matters even worse, Dwight Howard popped up at the conference, NOT knowing his coach just confirmed the rumors....... and stood by Gundy's side putting his arms around him saying...
"Whatever happens at the end of the season is not under my control,"
Howard told reporters.
"I am a player for the Magic. I am not the GM. I am not (owner) Rich DeVos I am not (Magic CEO) Alex Martins. So that's not my job. So you guys should stop ... every other week ... trying to find something, because there's nothing.

"I haven't said anything to anybody about anything. Our main concern is winning. So all the other stuff should stop."

This is not the first time Van Gundy took shots at Dwight. When all the hype surrounded Dwight decision to stay with the Orlando Magic. Van Gundy responded,

"Dwight signing was big. But it's not like the JFK moment where everybody knew where they were when it happened."
