RiRi has a desire to branch out into film, and has even taken acting lessons to help her perfect her skill. She has now won a part on new movie The Last Dragon, a remake of the 1985 film about a boy on a quest to become one of the best martial artists in the world.
"She has landed an incredibly challenging role alongside Samuel L Jackson. But it's not a part for the faint-hearted," a source says. "She will play a super sexy, super kinky dominatrix in the martial arts flick."
The 21-year-old has apparently been asked to fully research her role before shooting begins, and is contemplating spending time at a fetish club for inspiration. "She has been told to look into the role - and this could well include a trip to an S&M dungeon."
Rihanna recently said she was planning to broaden her horizons this year. She doesn't want to be known as just a singer, and would love to have several different careers.
"There is so much I want to do. I would love to try my hand at acting. I just want to keep getting better," she said. "I'll hopefully be making movies and having something to do with fashion as well as making music in years to come."
