P.Diddy accidentally tossed his $20,000 diamond-studded ring into a crowd - then insisted fans were frisked in a bid to get it back.But as he threw the money at the audience on106 & Park, his ring slipped off his hand and ended up among the fans. According to US reports, P.Diddy and members of his new hip-hop group, Dirty Money, could be seen tossing wads of fake $100 bills towards fans. But there were several real notes mixed in with the forged ones.
"The audience went wild," said spokeswoman Marcy Polanco. "We were like, 'Oh, my God!'" Sources said there were about $25 to $100 in singles in real cash.
"As he was throwing the money out to the audience, his ring flew off," Polanco said.
One witness said: "Someone pocketed that, and they probably took it to the nearest jeweler."
