Dr. Dre, Jimmy Iovine & Hewlett Packard Team Up To Save Music!

West coast rap icon, Dr. Dre and the head of the record label that signed him, Interscope's Jimmy Iovine are collaborating with Hewlett Packard to save digital music. The two music moguls are working with the computer giant to improve digital music's sound quality.

Hewlett Packard will release laptops, high-end headsets and software under a special edition “Beats By Dre" brand. “Beats By Dre” products will all feature improved sound quality technology. Iovine confirmed to CNET News that they were working to improve the “digital music ecosystem” from the sound file to the computer to the headphones.
