Everyone's talking about the NBA finals between the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers, were you one of the 18.8 million viewing??

Nielsen is reporting a whopping record of 18.8 million viewers in Game 2 of the NBA finals and that's not the only record that was set. Game 2 was the only time, ever, that the NBA finals went into overtime twice, consecutively.

With that, Game 2 was the most-watched NBA Finals Game 2 ever on ABC. According to Forbez, it peaked with 24.4 million viewers at 11 p.m. ET. Game 2 was up 26 percent from 14,914,000 viewers for Miami Heat San Antonio Spurs Game 2 last season.

Forbez --

Those numbers were bolstered by the staggering overnight ratings in the two local markets that the two teams hail from. Game 2 delivered an eye-popping 42.1 rating in the Cleveland market and a a strong 31.7 in the San Francisco market. Those two set records for an NBA game on ABC, or any ESPN network. Those numbers smashed the previous records, which were set for Game 1 of this series.

Game 1 saw 17.8 million viewers.

On top of this, Game 2 final numbers from Nielsen show a 10.5 U.S. household rating, up 19 percent from an 8.8 last year and ranks as the highest-rated NBA Finals Game 2 on ABC in over a decade.

So, who are YOU routing for in this years finals?

By the way the Cavs took their first final win this year for Game 2 with a score of 95 - 93. The Warriors took it home for Game 1 with a score of 108-101.

Continue the race for the big win, watch Game 3 on Tuesday, June 9, at 9 p.m. on ABC.
