Ever wanted to be your favorite celeb for a day.... seems like that's what Halloween has turned into.
Using HighBeam Research, the media mentions of each “celebrity name” + “costume” were tracked since the start of the season on September 1, 2011.
This Halloween, the King of Pop Michael Jackson still reigns supreme as the costume of choice with 31% of media mentions. Pop princess Katy Perry received 25% of mentions and while even though the Charlie Sheen costume isn’t necessarily “winning”, it still took 14%.
Other costumes receiving attention this Halloween are Barack Obama, Snooki from "Jersey Shore" and the late Amy Winehouse with 12%, 11% and 7% of the media mentions respectively.
